We’re having a great time at JBP at the moment with lots of interesting work and fun clients to work with.
Having spent the week at Badminton with Mitsubishi and then on to Chatsworth for Dodson & Horrell, it is quite nice to actually spend some time in the office and consolidate and plan the next few months.
Kim and Niamh seem to be extremely busy securing features and talking to the 24 Area Festival venues for Petplan Equine. They take place around the country and are all about encouraging more people to ‘get involved’ with dressage. It is really good liaising with British Dressage on this activity and ensuring that we meet the expectations of our client – so never a dull moment.
Charlotte, April and Pippa are planning for our next big event, The Festival of British Eventing. There is so much to consider in relation to features, competitions and the social channels. We have secured some excellent exposure to date, but we are always looking for more and that is in our plan. The digital age is also a major factor in our planning now as it is important that we don’t miss a trick so that keeps us ‘on our toes’.
I just try and keep a track of everything and come up with new ideas or suggestions which, no doubt, drives everyone mad but we can’t get bored – as if we would anyway! I have even taken some social media training to ensure we are on track so watch this space.
April is now on some well-earned holiday, but we can’t wait for her to come back and update us on her activities – weddings, riding and no doubt much, much more.
Pippa has gone off to Scotland as it is half term – a long drive but no doubt some fishing and country pursuits will be on the agenda.
Kim has been doing well in her dressage and I actually won and was 4th in some showjumping classes the other day so all in all we have a mixed bag to cope with from work, pleasure, riding our horses as well as competing and generally keeping busy.
Of course, the joy in my life must be Arthur and he ‘occasionally’ comes into the office and gives us his well-respected advice – bearing in mind he is coming up for three years old! Ha ha!
We will be in touch again very soon and hopefully this made you smile.
