JBP 2021 Playlist

Feb 12, 2021

Although the current circumstances haven’t changed too much since the introduction of the JBP playlist, we thought it would be a good time to give it a little refresh and update it with our latest favourite tracks ready to welcome Spring… You can check it out on Spotify here!

Pippa

  • Animals – Martin Garrix
  • Summertime Sadness – (Lana Del Rey Vs Cedric Gervais remix)
  • The Sea – Morcheeba

“Animals has to be the favourite at the moment as it reminds me so much of being played at full volume on car journeys home from school, we all absolutely love it, especially my 12 and 9 year old!! With home schooling at the moment, I can’t wait to be getting back to those school journeys!”

Bridget

  • Hello – Adele
  • Shape of You – Ed Sheeran
  • Someone You Loved – Lewis Capaldi

“I went to see Adele in concert at Wembley with my daughter and this song performed live was incredible.”

Kim

  • One Singular Sensation – A Chorus Line
  • Defying Gravity – Wicked
  • Dancing Queen – Mamma Mia

“My favourite would be One Singular Sensation mainly because it reminds me of going to the West End and having a fantastic evening with friends. To be honest they all remind me of those fab times!!”

April

  • Dreams – Fleetwood Mac
  • Paradise – Meduza & Dermot Kennedy
  • How Bizarre – OMC

“OMC How Bizarre basically sums up the past 10 months – Paradise is where I would absolutely love to be right now, it certainly feels like we are a thousand miles from it!”

Niamh

  • Power Over Me – Dermot Kennedy
  • Here I am – Tom Odell
  • Dancing with Myself – Billy Idol

“I think my favourite would be Here I Am by Tom Odell. When I lived at home, me and my mum would always put this on when ever we went anywhere and screech it at the top of our voices. Now, whenever I visit home we stick it on and its immediately like being 17 and learning to drive. Good memories.”

Charlotte

  • Tonight Tonight – Celeste
  • Let You Know – Flume & London Grammar
  • You Ain’t The Problem – Michael Kiwanuka

“When we can finally go to a gig again Michael Kiwanuka is at the top of my list. His latest album is a masterpiece and is often on repeat, a deserving winner for the Mercury Prize 2020!”
