Having returned from another busy week at Blenheim Palace where the Coate PR team successfully managed the PR and media relations for Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials 2024, we reflect on our key highlights.
Our team’s combined expertise and experience are crucial to the successful execution of managing the PR and media for events of this scale.
In this blog, find out a little more about what goes into running a media centre. As well as what happens behind the scenes at an event.
From social media and pre-event promotion to securing editorial features and working with sponsors, ambassadors and influencers – our remit provided a broad spectrum of support to the Stable Events team, who organise the event.
As the event unfolded, our team were on-site coordinating with famous faces such as Radio 2 presenter Sara Cox and social media stars ThisEsme and Harlow White. As well as organising meet-and-greets, rider-guided course walks and top rider masterclasses with William Fox-Pitt, Will Rawlin and Emily King. In addition, we managed the horse trials 65,500 social media following and coordinated interviews. We also orchestrated the media centre which welcomed over 130 press. We also hosted a day for British Equestrian Media Association members giving them an insight into how an event of this scale is run. Plus a course walk with event rider Simon Grieve and afternoon tea in the VIP Pavilion.
