On the 26th – 28th July 2024 Coate PR welcomed over 130 press from local, national, countryside and lifestyle media outlets to The Game Fair 2024 at Blenheim Palace.
It was the Coate PR team’s first time running a media centre at a non-equine based event and what a show it was. Let’s reflect on some of the key elements of event PR activity:
- Working with high profile influencers such as Lydia Millen and Jade Holland Cooper.
- Creating content plans for the on-event social media channels – Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
- Writing comprehensive photography and videography briefs.
- Pre-event photo shoots at the Palace which featured in the national press.
- Securing editorial in regional and national press including The Telegraph and The Times.
- Conducting on event interviews and writing press releases.
- Managing the media centre for over 130 members of the press.
Reflecting on the Coate PR team’s successful management of PR at The Game Fair, Managing Director, April, shared her thoughts:
“It was an amazing few days at Blenheim Palace. We’ve done events at Blenheim before, but it was great to be there for the first time for The Game Fair, managing the press centre and all the social media and content that goes out on event on behalf of the Stable Events team.”
April recalled a particularly memorable moment:
“Releasing the 20 hedgehogs with the Duke of Marlborough and his family as part of their charity mission was a bit unexpected as well as sourcing behind the scenes content of the many yorkshire puddings on offer in the VIP area with celebrity chef James Martin!
I was so proud of the Coate PR team, they went above and beyond in the months of planning and it was fantastic to see the results unfold during the event.”
We worked with some brilliant photographers and videographers, and it really made a difference.”
