The future of the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials is assured with the renowned events management company Stable Events committed to continuing to organise it into its fourth decade.
Over 28,000 visitors attended the event over the four days of competition which represents a record turnout in recent years along with an extensive increase in shopping opportunities for all to enjoy.
Stable Events has signed a contract with the Blenheim Palace Estate, which will provide welcome stability for the prestigious Horse Trials, which was established in 1990.
The Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials, with its glorious setting in the Duke of Marlborough’s spectacular parkland, is highly popular with competitors, owners, spectators and tradestand holders alike.
Last weekend, 14 nations were represented across the CCI4*-L and the CCI4*-S for eight- and nine-year-old horses, including the reigning Olympic, world and European champions plus seven of the top 10 riders in the FEI World Rankings.
“We have thoroughly enjoyed our association with the Horse Trials and are looking forward to building on this year’s success,” said Richard Hease, Chairman of Stable Events, which will also be organising the 2024 Game Fair at Blenheim Palace.
James Gower, Managing Director of Stable Events, added: “Blenheim is a highly valued date in the international eventing calendar and we feel we have a lot to offer in terms of innovation and stability for the future. We’re already looking forward to 2024 and beyond.”
Roy Cox, Managing Director of the Blenheim Palace Estate, welcomed the continued association with Stable Events. “The Horse Trials has been a flagship event for the Palace for 33 years and we have every confidence in Stable Events that it will continue to attract the crowds of spectators to watch the world’s best riders in action.”
Next year the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials will run on September 19-22, 2024.
The Game Fair, which is also part of the Stable Events extensive portfolio, will take place at Blenheim Palace on July 26-28, 2024.
