The countdown has begun for Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials (BPIHT), with just 50 days remaining until this prestigious equestrian event kicks off. Taking place from 19 – 22 September, this year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Blenheim Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Horse Trials will bring together elite riders and their horses from around the globe. The event will feature top-tier competition offering spectators a chance to witness world-class equestrian sport in an unparalleled setting, along with grassroots competitions that enable the stars of the future to compete amongst the best in the world.

In addition to the inspiring competitions, Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials will offer a variety of attractions and activities for the whole family. Visitors can explore an extensive shopping village, take a ride on the big wheel, enjoy food and drink to tickle everyone’s tastebuds, including hampers from Fortnum & Masons, plus thrilling demonstrations and exciting displays in the Blenheim and Churchill Arenas from the Police, Mini Rovers, Falconry, Pugs and Drummers to the Shetland Pony Grand National, Amanda Sandow’s Spotted Liberty Ponies and Side-Saddle group ‘A bit on the side’. Social media stars Harlow White and Esme Higgs will be sure to excite the younger visitors, while those who are eager to see eventing through a different pair of eyes will be delighted that Radio DJ, Author and Presenter Sara Cox will be interviewing riders at the end of the cross country course on Saturday.
